Who are we ?
After a first career in urban planning, Fanny embarked on a CAP pastry course to realize her dream since she was 12: to open her own tea room.
Today, Miss Goumard is a charming restaurant located in Cheverny , in the Loir-et-Cher region. Founded in 2014 by Fanny, the establishment moved in October 2022 to 15 bis route du Bûcher, offering a peaceful countryside setting.
Here the atmosphere is a mixture of Fanny’s Lille roots, the British breath of neighbouring England and a famous New York series…
The great hall
Enjoy lunch or snacks at the dining table or lounge, overlooking the kitchen, where the atmosphere is often lively.
Fanny has mixed family furniture, childhood memorabilia, and thrift store finds to create a unique atmosphere.
The room is air-conditioned for hot summer days.
The small living room
The most British room in the tea room! Plaid wallpaper, a floral sofa, a collection of teapots—everything you need to cross the Channel in no time! You can also book the small lounge for your receptions.
The terrace
As soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, enjoy the shaded terrace for lunch or a snack. With a little luck, you might even be able to admire the deer passing through the surrounding fields.
The parking lot
For the more athletic among you who are cycling along the Loire, a bicycle parking area is available. Alternatively, a 9-car parking lot is located adjacent to the tea room. In case of heavy traffic, feel free to park in the nearby parking lot.
How would you describe your cooking?
“My cuisine is simple and authentic. I offer homemade dishes, highlighting quality local products. I always try to offer a variety of dishes with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, allowing everyone to find something that suits them, whatever their diet. Very attentive to health through nutrition, I offer gourmet but balanced dishes. I am inspired by different cuisines from around the world, I revisit everything with my own twist. My customers appreciate it, and that’s what makes me love my job.”
On the pastries side, there are my classic cookies, chocolate fondant, and lemon tart, complemented by desserts inspired by the season: tart, clafoutis, cheesecake, and carrot cake. I also have vegan and gluten-free options.
The extensive drinks menu is complemented seasonally by drinks of the moment and house drinks (fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, matcha latte, pumpkin spice latte, etc.). We also offer plant-based alternatives.
